“May you live in interesting times” is – as the urban legend has it – a Chinese proverb and curse. Regardless of its authenticity, it very true of what is happening in the aviation world these days. Passengers word over suffer from flight disruptions for a whole numbers of reasons.

Political upheavals

By that we mean of course the unstable situation in Egypt where many travellers have wound up stranded at Cairo Airport.
