Airport security control. Some of the most outrageous stories

Some say we live in a culture of fear and if there is one sphere of life it is quite apparent, that sphere is aviation. And if there is one single country that stands out in this respect, that country has got to be the United States of America where the fear-driven security measures strike way more the passengers of airlines of than anyone posing any threat. Let us take a look at some of the most appalling stories.

Concussion at Airport Washington

Robin Kassner will never forget the security control at Airport  Washington. Oblivious of the fact that she had a small bottle with contact lens liquid, she went through the security control gate and was literary assaulted by the security officers. The result was concussion, arrest and a lawsuit against her. Luckily the situation was captured by cameras and then the roles were reversed as she launched a lawsuit against the airport authorities.
