The recent blood bath at Domodedovo Airport was just one the a series of terrorist attacks on both airports, public facilities and state-owned builings. At the same time we witness an unprecedented tightening of the security procedures in the airports around the world.
In this context two questions arise. Are the current procedures good enough to prevent such attacks from happening? And is it at all humanely possible to thwart the evil designs of terrorists? Given the endless ingenuity of the evil minds behind the terror plans, the second question seems to be a rhetorical one. What is worst it appears we cannot even give a affirmative answer to the first question.
