After Adria Airways revealed its reduction plans which will impact the traffic to and from Ljubljana Airport, the airport’s authorities spotted an opportunity to keep the passenger numbers on the current level by attracting the Irish low-cost airlines Ryanair.
As some of you may remember, Ryanair has already entered the Slovenian market once but withdrew after some months. The talks may not only help the airport but also result in cheap flights to Ljubljana for UK travellers.

When it comes to in-flight food, which nowadays is a regular ancillary service and no longer and obvious part of the flying experience, we can observe a stratification which by and large comes down to two trends. Low-cost airlines overcharge you for a dishwater of a coffee and a child portion of insipid food which makes them what they are: low-cost.
On the other hand there are those more traditional carriers offering a variety of products depending how much you are willing to put up. That kind of diversity is surely advantageous in that is gives one a freedom of choice. Let us take a look at just a few examples of airlines know for quality food.

The images from the life of high society have always enjoyed an enormous popularity. For some reason many of us feel the urge to take a peep into the world of lavish luxury despite we know that this word is out of our reach. Or maybe precise because of it.

Yesterday we wrote about a carrier from distant latitudes, well at least for most of the readers, and today we stick to the same geographical area as Singapore Airlines kicked off a jolly nice promotion. What is is all about? To cut long story short, all travellers from Singapore can rub their hands with glee because the promotion includes plenty of charming places such as Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Melbourne or London. The port of departure is as suggested Singapore and as for the fares, they range from SGD 218 for Singapore – Kuala Lumpur to SGD 1588 for Singapore – Auckland.
It remains to mention that the offer is valid for travel between September 1 and November 18 and you can book you seats from now to August 31, 2010. We wish all of you who have an excess of between SGD 218 and SGD 1588 in their wallets a fabulous trip. Deails on the carrier’s website.
