Hello travellers. This time we will deal with the baggage policy of the Istanbul-based carrier – Pegasus Airlines. Let us begin with what we can bring with us on board that is to say:

Pegasus Airlines to launch daily flights from Istanbul to Sofia

Low cost carrier Pegasus Airlines announced that it would strengthen its flights to Europe. As from October 1, 2010 Pegasus will be operated daily flights from Sofia to Istanbul (Sabiha).

Airline tickets are now on sale – prices from Istanbul to Sofia begin from €35.99 and fares from Sofia to Istanbul are available even from €32.99. These discounted fares include taxes.

Air Berlin and Pegasus Airlines start cooperation

Air Berlin, Germany’s second-largest airline company, and Pegasus Airlines, Turkey’s largest privately-owned airline, have started working together. As of today, selected flights of both airlines will be listed on airberlin.com and flypgs.com, and the websites will be linked. In this manner, travelers will benefit from a more extensive flight offer.

Using Air Berlin’s Internet portal, travelers will be able to book 17 additional connections from Germany to Turkey as well as 26 routes within Turkey. A client who decides to book one of these flights will be redirected to flypgs.com. In the same manner, selected Air Berlin flights within Germany and Europe as well as long-haul flights can be booked via the Pegasus Airlines website.

Pegasus Airlines launches daily flights to Istanbul and Bodrum

Pegasus Airlines is launching a daily London - Istanbul service from 1st April 2009, with prices from £39.99 including taxes and charges and a once-weekly direct flight from London to Bodrum on Mondays, launching 4th May 2009 with one-way prices from £65.99 including taxes and charges.

Pegasus currently operates a five-weekly service on the London (Stansted) – Istanbul (Sabiha Gökçen) / North Cyprus (Ercan) route and has moved to scale up the service in response to growing demand. Flights on this route will continue to depart London Stansted daily at 12.45, arriving in Istanbul at 18.20. The return leg departs from Istanbul at 10.20, arriving at London Stansted 12.05.
