It seems as though the market is not yet saturated as far as transatlantic routes are concerned given that some 28 new routes to North-American destinations are either already launched or expected to be in operation in 2011.
Among the airlines to set up routes to US and Canada are e.g. Delta, Air France, Air Berlin, SAS or British Airways. Let us take a look at a few examples of the announced services.

Sometimes it is tough to be a plane passenger and flying may be a precarious business given how many things can happen destroying your trip. But sometimes it is the passengers who are giving the crew a hard time. Their list of achievements is long and includes disobeying instructions, unruly and antisocial behaviour or even attacking the crew.
A recent episode which happened on a LOT Polish Airlines flight from Chicago to Warsaw where two drunk passengers ran wildly around and one of them went amok and the punched a female flight attendant in the face is a good example of what we are talking about. The pilots had to land on Iceland and the flights was disrupted and delayed.

The traditional Polish carrier LOT Polish Airlines is currently launching a new sale which at the same time is its biggest marketing campaign ever. Underlying the sale is the concept of first minute fares which is a fresh twist on the known last minute travels notion.
The concept is kind of self-explanatory – it is all about cutting the travel expenses by booking one’s fare long in advance. The fares are clustered in 3 price and distance categories:
