Hurricane Isaac causes disruptions & Lufthansa strike

Hurricane Isaac is causing headaches for US travellers. Even though the hurricane is reported to be weakening, it has affected among others operations to New Orleans Airport.

Delta Air Lines had a total of 107 cancelled flights on Tuesday and 60 flights on Wednesday across the Gulf Coast region. Most likely the carrier will resume its operations to Pensacola and Mobile today afternoon. As far as the flights to Mobile and New Orleans are concerned, they will probably be resumed by tomorrow morning (Thursday 30 August)

Air France has recently extended its route-network with as many as 13 new services.
