In April, the The European Commission has adopted the 17th update of its list of carriers banned from carrying out flights to the member states of the Community as well as airlines which can operate in Europe under specific conditions.
The latest version of the list includes 269 airlines from 21 countries such as Afghanistan, RepublicofCongo, Kazakhstan or Philippines, whereas examples of the banned airlines are: Safi Airlines (Afghanistan), Aero Service (Republic of Congo) or Cebu Pacific(Republic of the Philippines).

Low cost airline Cebu Pacific based in the Philippines launched a new airfare sale offering 33% off selected fares. The lowest prices start at P599. Five domestic and international destinations are available for travel from October 1 until November 30, 2010. From Manila to Kota Kinabalu fares are available from only P999, flights Manila – Osaka can be booked from P3999. From P599 seats are up for grabs for flights from Manila to Calbayog and Catarman and from Manila and Cebu to Tacloban.
These low fares are available for booking until Augusta 25, 2010 or until seats last. Cebu Pacific offers flights to 14 other international destinations: Brunei, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh, Macau,Incheon and Busan. Low cost airline Cebu Pacific announced that it would increase flight frequencies to six Asian destianations. The current twice weekly flights from Manila to Kota Kinabalu will get an additional Wednesday frequency starting October 20, 2010.
Starting October 31, 2010, CEB will operate daily flights from Manila to Taipei. Its Cebu – Singapore flights will also become a daily service on the same day. Meanwhile, starting December 15, 2010, three more flights will be added to Cebu’s Manila – Kuala Lumpur service, making it a ten times weekly frequency. The airline is also increasing flights from Manila to Jakarta (four times weekly starting December 19, 2010) and Manila to Seoul (twice daily starting January 24, 2011).
Should you happen to be in the Philippines area or be going there soon, you will appreciate the latest offer from Cebu Pacific. These airlines came up with quite a generous offer – flights to six destinations across Asia with some airfares starting at P1. If you are lucky you practically pay only taxes.
The offer include such connections as Manila – Osaka or Cebu – Dipolog. Those who find it interesting should hurry up as the booking period lasts till June 11, 2010. As for the travel period, it starts in July 1, 2010 and lasts till August 31, 2010. The fares are for one-way.

Low cost airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) launched a 50% off seat sale for those traveling to all its domestic and international destinations. Booking is possible until May 31, 2010. Discounted airline tickets are for travel from July 1 until September 30, 2010.
This airfare deal includes seats to and from Osaka, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Ho Chi Minh, Kota Kinabalu, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Taipei, among other CEB international destinations. Also up for grabs are seats to prime tourist destinations such as Boracay (Caticlan), Puerto Princesa (Palawan), Busuanga (Coron), Cebu, Bohol (Tagbilaran), Siargao, Dumaguete and Laoag. Inter-island flights for those visiting family and friends are also available, including Cebu – Clark, Cebu – Bacolod, Cebu – Iloilo, Davao – Zamboanga and Davao – Cagayan de Oro.

Hong Kong is available from Clark for the ‘Go Lite’ seat sale fare of P999, from Manila for P1,499, and from Cebu for P1,999. Shanghai and Guangzhou seats from Manila are also up for grabs for only P1,999.
Low cost airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) launches a two-day Clark hub airfare sales from January 12-13, 2010 for travel from February 1 until April 30, 2010. For the ‘Go Lite’ seat sale fare of just P1, passengers can travel from Clark to Cebu. Meanwhile, those traveling from Clark to Bangkok, Singapore, Macau and Hong Kong can avail of the ‘Go Lite’ seat sale fare of P999.
Those with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking. CEB is the only airline flying from Clark to Cebu every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and to Bangkok every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
