British low-cost airline bmibaby announced it would open 3 new routes from Birmingham Airport. Moreover, company is giving a 1/3 off selected flights now! Take your time to explore what 3 fascinating cities have to offer.

You can choose the capital of Italy and fly on the route Birmingham – Rome (FCO) from £44.99. The first flight will be operated on March 30, 2012. Flights to Barcelona start March 29, 2012 and one-way flights are available from £44.99. Travellers departing from Birmingham Airport may also book flights to Lisbon. Flights to the capital of Portugal start March 31, 2012 and are now available from £39.99.

Weekly update – new routes and services

The weekly update on new routes and services

Hi guys. Traditionally on Monday we publish our weekly preview of the latest developments in the world of aviation – new routes and services and other news from the low-cost airlines as well as traditional carriers.

We begin with quite a few changes in the route network of the British low-cost carrier bmibaby. This carrier announced it would close down its bases in Manchester and Cardiff and stop flying from these airports. One of the implications of it is that the Manchester – Prague route will be discontinued. The planes serving the routes which are to be discontinued will be redeployed to Belfast, Birmingham and Belfast.
