Transavia: Check-in options
Not sure how to check in online with the Amsterdam-based Transavia? No worriers, we’ll help you out – read on and find it out! In general, there are three ways to check-in:
Transavia online check-in
Online check-in is available for many although not all flights. Its availability is restricted among others to flights departing from Amsterdam Airport, Paris Airport or Rotterdam Airport as well as to flights with numbers 5000 to 6999.
You can check in online from 24 to 4 hours before departure. It allows you to choose both your seat and seats for your travel companions as well as to print boarding card(s). What you need is the booking confirmation number.
Transavia self-service check-in kiosk
Travelling from Amsterdam Airport? Why not use a self-service kiosk? You’re going to need your booking confirmation code and your passport/credit card. The availability of the kiosk check-in is from 2,5 hours to 50 minutes prior to the flight departure. It allows for group check-in as well.
Both in case of web check-in and if use take advantage of check-in kiosks, you can leave your baggage at the baggage drop-off counter provided you depart from Amsterdam Airport, Rotterdam Airport or Eindhoven Airport. As for the other airports, you can do the same at the check-in counter.
Transavia airport check-in
Once at the airport, you can go straight to the check-in counter. You’ll need your booking code and identity document. The check-in time varies depending on your airport of departure.
