Blue1 – online check-in

Check-in before you even arrive at the airport. This option is available from 22 hours to 1 hour prior to departure for passengers both with and without checked baggage.

Simply enter your last name, your booking reference or the card number (the card you specified as your E-ticket ID). In case there are more passengers in one booking, separate their last names by commas. Now you can select your seat. You can print your boarding pass at the SAS self-service point. Travelling with baggage? Remember to get your baggage tag from the check-in machine at the airport!

Blue1 – self service check-in

From September 1, 2012 economy passengers can take advantage of full self-service check-in for at Helsinki Airport. When using the self-service kiosks, all you have to do is to enter your card/reservation number or insert your card into the device.

Blue1 – SMS check-in

To use this option enter your mobile phone number when booking and wait for a notification which will come some 22 hours prior to departure. Once you receive it, you can check in and get your seat number. The new mobile boarding pass in available on many though not all routes. Make sure your route is included!

Blue1 – check-in times

When it comes to airports in Finland, the deadline is 45 minutes for travellers with checked baggage and 30 for travellers with cabin baggage only. As for airports in Scandinavia and rest of Europe the deadline is mostly 60 minutes, although e.g. at Stockholm Airport and Edinburgh Airports the deadline is 40 minutes before departure.
