Swiss Air check-in

December 20th, 2011

Hi travellers. In today’s highlights we would like to present the check-in options offered by the flag carrier of Switzerland – Swiss International Air Lines.

Swiss air online check-in

Checking in on the internet is both convenient and quick. This option is available from 23 hours and up to 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure. Click on “web check-in” in the lower left corner on the main page and enter your first name, last name as well as your booking or e-ticket number.

Now you can select your seat, print your boarding pass or send it to your internet-enabled mobile device.

Among airports allowing you to use the mobile boarding pass are Airport Geneva or Airport Copenhagen. For full overview of airports go to the homepage of Swiss International Air Lines and find “Self-Service Overview”.

Quick check-in at the airport

At selected airports, you can take advantage of the so-called Quick Check-in machines. Simply register using your ticket number or ticket bar code or passport (depending on where you depart) and follow the instructions. In this manner you can check in as many as 9 passengers travelling with you.

Now you can either proceed to the gate (in case you are travelling with hand baggage only) or go to the baggage drop-off if you are travelling with hold baggage.
